PDIADI | National Driving Instructor Development
Level 3 Award in Education and Training is designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work, or currently work, within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities.
We train people from all walks of life; recent courses have included internal trainers, driving instructors, personal trainers, nutritionists, florists, accountants, builders and chefs. They all share the common goal of wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification in teaching adults and passing on their skills and knowledge to others.
How long will it take?
The total qualification time for this qualification is 120 hours and of this 48 hours are recommended as guided learning hours.

Assessment method
This qualification is assessed by the completion of a portfolio of evidence. The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance.
About the qualification
This is a 12-credit qualification and contains the following three mandatory units:
Roles, responsibilities and relationships in Education and Training
Understanding and using inclusive learning and teaching Education and Training
Understanding assessment in Education and Training
What’s required to pass?
Successful completion of three assignments (one each for unit) and complete your micro-teaching and feedback session.
How is the course delivered?
The course is delivered over 3 days, the first two days via Zoom and day three in a classroom to deliver your micro teaching and feedback session.
Day one: 10th April: Zoom Classroom
Day two: 11th April: Zoom Classroom
Day three: 12th April: Premier Meetings London Gatwick Airport (Manor Royal),
Fleming Way, Manor Royal, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9DF
You will learn in an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere where the emphasis is on group interaction to help you put what you are learning into practice. All assignments and micro-teach will be covered during the three day course.
You will have a further six weeks to complete your assignments following your attendance
