SUMMARY:How does Risk Management Affect Your Standard Check or Part 3 Grade?
DESCRIPTION:Risk management has an influence on the other competencies for the Standards Check. \nScoring 1 or less in any of the sections in the risk management section\, will have a knock-on effect to the other sections. During this session\, I’ll be discussing how the minor competencies link together\, demonstrating how small changes can upgrade your score to improve your overall mark. \nI’ll be developing understanding of the skills required to move your final grade from a B to an A. \nExplain how the feel of the sessions is important in assessing the overall performance & how to create a safe teaching environment has a direct influence in the final score. \nDeveloping the instructor’s observations skills\, which could also include how it feels\, what it looks like or how calm the event is will often help create a safe teaching environment.  \nFive takes outs delegates will get from this session:  \n\nHow the risk management competencies link to the others\nWhat the examiner is looking for\nGiving a great customer experience to the driver & passenger\nThe reason for the journey\nHow & when to prepare for your assessment

SUMMARY:Failure Analysis - Being Better With Bob
DESCRIPTION:Failure analysis from Bob Morton Wed 1st November 6.00pm to 7.30pm \nThis is a certificated Zoom Workshop. \nA common occurrence amongst driving instructors is not passing their Standards Check or Part 3 and not really understanding why. The examiners will give feedback but this can be limited and the instructor may not be in the right frame of mind to take it in. It is hard to make your next attempt successful if you don’t fully understand where you went wrong. \nThis is where this workshop will really help. \nThis workshop is for you if: \nYou have failed a Part 3 or Standards Check and cannot understand exactly why. \nYou would like to understand the marking system better. \nYou would like to see how the competencies link together. \nJoin me for a failure analysis session where we will look at real test failure results and look at how we can de-cypher what has happened on the test. \nYou can also volunteer to have your test result analysed during the session too!

DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Bob Morton \nTime 18:00 to 20:00 \nIntroduction to Train the Trainer.\nTraditionally ADI training heavily relied on role-play\, which most (if not all) PDIs hate.\nWe should be allowing PDIs to develop knowledge\, skills and understanding through series of experiences. this is how human beings are hard wired to learn.\nThis workshop is designed to help you to discover the skills\, knowledge and understanding required to deliver the practical training element of an Instructor Training Course\, and develop plans to acquire them.

SUMMARY:Being better with Bob - Scoring Well
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Bob Morton \nTime 18:00 to 20:00 \nI work with lots of PDI’s and ADI’s who are mystified by the Part 3 exam and the standards check. There is no real secret\, the DVSA want to see you deliver the lesson needed by that pupil on that day\, at that time\, but it is shrouded in mystery through misinformation on social media and this fuels elevated levels of anxiety and stress inhibiting performance. \nIn this masterclass you will gain a better understanding of: \nwhat the competencies actually mean (in plain English)\nhow to manage anxiety and stress\nhow to help your pupil do the same\nprepare effectively for assessments\nstructure client centred lessons suitable for exams and standards checks (and the real world)\nmaximising your chances of success through better lesson planning\npreparing better routes for assessments\nhow to work every day in ways that produce success on assessments

SUMMARY:Being better with Bob - How we learn
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Bob Morton \nTime 18:00 to 20:00 \nThis masterclass focusses on how human beings actually learn.
