SUMMARY:How delivering mock tests can influence your trigger points!
DESCRIPTION:How are you assessing your students before they go for test? \nOver the last few years\, it has become very important for ADIs to know that their students are ready to sit the test. During your training to become an ADI there would have been a great emphasis on assessing what had been learnt during the lesson (Formative assessment). For most there will have been very little information about conducting a Mock Test (Summative assessment) \nThe driving test is different from normal driving lessons because the candidate is driving on their own\, without any interventions from the passenger. During the session the differences will be discussed\, highlighting the benefits of re-creating what it would be like during the driving test. \n Five takes outs delegates will get from this session:  \n\nWhat must happen.\nUnderstanding the marking system\nFault assessment\nReason for the journey\nWhat are you going to do next?\n\n  \nReviews: \n Christine Hodgkinson  Jan 16\, 2024\nVery useful course\, giving more insight into Mock tests and actual tests and what the examiners are looking for.\n\nNeil Hughes  Jan 15\, 2024\nA great zoom \, learnt a bit more about doing mock tests \, looking forward to the others\n\n\n\n Nicola Pritchard   Jan 15\, 2024\nI really recommend this cpd workshop to anyone that isn’t sure how mock tests are actually marked. As I now think I may of been marking pupils a bit harshly!!\nI found this workshop really interesting thank you Andrew!!\n\n\n

SUMMARY:Hypnotherapy for weight management - Morning Option
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4 week program and everyone is welcome to join\, the price includes all 4 sessions. \nHere are the dates and times: \nWeek 1: Friday February 9th 9am – 10am \nWeek 2: Friday February 16th  9am – 10am \nWeek 3: Friday February 23rd 9am – 10am \nWeek 4: Friday March 1st  9am – 10am \n1 – Learn about why our brain lets us over-eat when we know it’s bad for us. \nI’m sure we all wake up saying enough is enough\, today will be different\, but by 8pm you’re back to your old unhealthy routine…..what’s going on in your brain that’s allowing that to happen and what can you do to change those patterns of behaviour? \n2 – Goal setting suggestion – you choose your own goal each week \nYour goal could be to stop snacking in the car or stop eating chocolate\, or it could be to be more tolerant with the kids in the morning\, or to tidy the kitchen before you go to bed….we all know that if our head is in a good place we don’t comfort eat. You will set your own goal.  (This is not discussed openly\, your privacy is important) \n3 – Hypnosis to help relax you and allow your brain to process the suggestion \n4 – Implementing strategies to maintain and achieve continued success \nLosing weight doesn’t MAKE you happy – but being HAPPY makes it possible to lose weight \nHypnotherapy is a combination of Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. The Psychotherapy in itself is extremely beneficial and its effects are enhanced by the application of Hypnotherapy\, which enables the subconscious mind to make positive changes. \nSolution Focused Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process and it is important to understand that change happens because you want it to. \nThere is no magic wand to weight loss – but having the knowledge as to why you continue to repeat patterns of behaviour that you know are unhealthy is very powerful.  Having simple practical steps you can take to change these pattern of behaviour gets you on the right track.  Knowing why dieting doesn’t really work in the long term\, but changing pattern of behaviour and reducing stress are the key to long term change. \nBeing a Solution Focused therapy we don’t focus on the problem (with good reason)\, we take the emphasis away from diet\, exercise and weight and focus on feeling good and how to achieve that.  We know that when we feel good we naturally make better choices about food and feel motivated to exercise.  The mind body balance is what we strive for. \nA good weight management session is when the client is able to describe being happier not because they’ve lost weight or kept to a diet but because they feel able to cope well and are proud of their reaction to events.  Their happiness is what will make their change possible in the long term (weight management is usually just one of the changes that a person makes when they are happier or more confident)

SUMMARY:'Asking Questions People Like Answering & Trusting Intuition' - Terry Lefteri
DESCRIPTION:5+1 Essential Coaching Skills’ workshop series.\n‘Asking Questions People like Answering & Trusting Intuition’ \nOn part two of the 5+1 Coaching – The Essential Skills series of workshops we’ll be looking at asking questions people like answering and understanding intuition. Which again are essential aspects of delivering brilliant driving lessons.\nAsking the right question\, at the right time\, is a foundation of effective learning.\nWe’ll be looking at the different types of questions\, why we ask them\, when we don’t ask them and why just because you’re asking questions doesn’t mean you’re coaching.\nOne of the most overlooked coaching skills is using your intuition so we are going to dive into it and discover just how important it is……I’ll even give you an amazing tool to use that’ll help you ‘listen’ to your intuition.

SUMMARY:How delivering mock tests can influence your trigger points!
DESCRIPTION:How are you assessing your students before they go for test? \nOver the las few years is has become very important that ADI’s know that their students are ready to sit the test. \n Five takes outs delegates will get from this session:  \n\nWhat must happen.\nUnderstanding the marking system\nFault assessment\nReason for the journey\nWhat are you going to do next?\n\n

SUMMARY:How does Risk Management Affect Your Standard Check or Part 3 Grade?
DESCRIPTION:Risk management has an influence on the other competencies for the Standards Check. \nScoring 1 or less in any of the sections in the risk management section\, will have a knock-on effect to the other sections.
