SUMMARY:How delivering mock tests can influence your trigger points!
DESCRIPTION:How are you assessing your students before they go for test? \nOver the las few years is has become very important that ADI’s know that their students are ready to sit the test. During your training to become an ADI there would have been a great emphasis on assessing what had been learnt during the lesson (Formative assessment). For most there will have been very little information about conducting a Mock Test (Summative assessment) \nThe driving test is different from normal driving lessons because the candidate is driving on their own\, without any interventions from the passenger. During the session the differences will be discussed\, highlighting the benefits of re-creating what it would be like during the driving test. \n Five takes outs delegates will get from this session:  \n\nWhat must happen.\nUnderstanding the marking system\nFault assessment\nReason for the journey\nWhat are you going to do next?\n\n

SUMMARY:Failure Analysis - Being Better With Bob
DESCRIPTION:Failure analysis from Bob Morton  \nThis is a certificated Zoom Workshop. \nA common occurrence amongst driving instructors is not passing their Standards Check or Part 3 and not really understanding why. The examiners will give feedback\, but this can be limited\, and the instructor may not be in the right frame of mind to take it in. It is hard to make your next attempt successful if you don’t fully understand where you went wrong. \nThis is where this workshop will really help. \nThis workshop is for you if: \nYou have failed a Part 3 or Standards Check and cannot understand exactly why. \nYou would like to understand the marking system better. \nYou would like to see how the competencies link together. \nJoin me for a failure analysis session where we will look at real test failure results and look at how we can de-cypher what has happened on the test. \nYou can also volunteer to have your test result analysed during the session too!

SUMMARY:Being better with Bob - Scoring Well
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Bob Morton. \nI work with lots of PDI’s and ADI’s who are mystified by the Part 3 exam and the standards check. There is no real secret\, the DVSA want to see you deliver the lesson needed by that pupil on that day\, at that time\, but it is shrouded in mystery through misinformation on social media and this fuels elevated levels of anxiety and stress inhibiting performance. \nIn this masterclass you will gain a better understanding of: \nwhat the competencies actually mean (in plain English)\nhow to manage anxiety and stress\nhow to help your pupil do the same\nprepare effectively for assessments\nstructure client centred lessons suitable for exams and standards checks (and the real world)\nmaximising your chances of success through better lesson planning\npreparing better routes for assessments\nhow to work every day in ways that produce success on assessments

SUMMARY:Scaling - The Bigger Picture - Fiona Taylor
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Fiona Taylor.\nIn this workshop Fiona will be looking at ‘Scaling’ a fresh new way.\n \nScaling can be as basic as 4 out of 5 stars or even a score of 8 out of 10.\n– OR\nIt can be a way for a multitude of information and details to be explored that may not be evident from an initial glance at the number (or indeed a star) rating alone.\nHow many times do you read the full Reviews to see ‘why’ a product has 4.5 stars. Does the rest of the information matter to you?\nKnowing a number does not provide solutions or results\, nor a plan of action.\nThere is so much more to scaling than the number itself. \n \nEngaging in this workshop will demonstrate practically how scaling on a deeper level is a really powerful tool for you to explore and develop in your own unique way as an ADI or PDI.\nYour Drivers will love the results they see too!\nThe course also helps with techniques to engage people who are reluctant to Scale themselves at all. \nClient Centred\, engaging training techniques are combined in this course to give you solutions to these issues and so much more. \nIf you want that feeling at the end of the day that your efforts are matched by your Drivers\, plus seeing the results that you want; then this course is for you. \n

SUMMARY:Mind Mapping - The Bigger Picture - Fiona Taylor
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Fiona Taylor.\nIn this workshop Fiona will be looking at ‘Mind Mapping’ in a fresh new way.\n \n \nMind Mapping (or Brain Mapping\, Spray Diagrams or Spidergrams) are a way to get information ‘out’ before ordering and collating it into a useful format for development. \nOnce you unleash your Driver’s scaling potential you can add Mind Mapping techniques to form new ideas\, link ideas and visualise relationships between old and new information. It also maps out the options for the next steps and future steps. Totally Client Centred too! \nThe potential of these techniques is limited solely by your imagination! \nCombining Mind Mapping  techniques offers a solution focused approach to common problems such as these examples: \n\n“Yes… but I just want to give the test a go!\nMy Dad only had 10 hours\, and the waiting list is so long!”\n“Shall I check my mirrors now? Shall I signal now?\nShall I change gear now?”\n“Yes\, I know you’ve told me loads of times\, but I just can’t remember what you told me to do or when to do it?”\n\nClient Centred\, engaging training techniques are combined in this course to give you solutions to these issues and so much more. \nIf you want that feeling at the end of the day that your efforts are matched by your Drivers\, plus seeing the results that you want; then this course is for you. \n

SUMMARY:Breakfast with Terry & Fiona - “Should I signal or not?”
DESCRIPTION:Terry Lefteri and Fiona Taylor look forward to seeing you on this early morning Breakfast Zoom Session. \n“Should I signal or not?” \nHow often do you get asked this question? \nIn this session The Duo discuss: \n• What is going on in the Learner’s head that they need to ask all the time? \n• Why doesn’t the learner know what to do when you have told them before? \n• Why is there no simple answer to the question? \n• How can we help our Driver’s make their own choices with confidence? \nThinking more about the origins of this type of question from your Learners can arm you with tips and solutions to explore during sessions. After this session you will have a better understanding of your Learner’s motives for asking this type of question\, helping you make sure they can always choose to signal or not. \nThis is a CPD Certificated event. \n

SUMMARY:Being better with Bob - Scoring Well
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Bob Morton \nTime 18:00 to 20:00 \nI work with lots of PDI’s and ADI’s who are mystified by the Part 3 exam and the standards check.
