SUMMARY:Fault Analysis
DESCRIPTION:It can be easy to think that we know the reason for a particular fault. This interactive session will highlight the need to get to the core of the issue. \nThrough detailed analysis\, this Zoom will demonstrate that a one-size-fits-all approach to fault analysis can be counter-productive\, and solutions will be offered to help you get to the core reasons easily. \nTherefore\, the solutions will naturally present themselves\, both of which Diana and Phil will support you with throughout.

SUMMARY:Scaling - The Bigger Picture - Fiona Taylor
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Fiona Taylor. In this workshop\, Fiona will be looking at ‘Scaling’ in a fresh new way. \nScaling can be as basic as 4 out of 5 stars or even a score of 8 out of 10.\n– OR\nIt can be a way for a multitude of information and details to be explored that may not be evident from an initial glance at the number (or indeed a star) rating alone. How often do you read the full Reviews to see ‘why’ a product has 4.5 stars? Does the rest of the information matter to you? Knowing a number does not provide solutions or results\, nor a plan of action. \nThere is so much more to scaling than the number itself. \nEngaging in this workshop will demonstrate practically how scaling on a deeper level is a really powerful tool for you to explore and develop in your unique way as an ADI or PDI.\nYour Drivers will love the results they see\, too! The course also helps with techniques for engaging people who are reluctant to Scale themselves. \nThis course combines Client-Centred\, engaging training techniques to give you solutions to these issues and more. \nIf you want to feel that your efforts are matched by your Drivers at the end of the day\, plus see the results that you want\, then this course is for you. \nReview\nI took the scaling course with Fiona Taylor online.\nReally interesting and it works. I’ve been doing this job for 30 years and there is always more to learn and improve.\nUsed it with 3 pupils since and all improved\, enjoyed and better still gave more interaction during lesson.\nThanks Fiona! 😊\nSue Curry \nReview \nFiona’s scaling course was an absolute pleasure to be a part of\, until now I never realised how scaling could be used as such a powerful analytical tool\, but in a very positive success based way. Thank you Fiona can’t wait to try it out on my students!\n Iwan Williams

SUMMARY:Mind Mapping - Their Brain Dump - Fiona Taylor
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Fiona Taylor.\nIn this workshop\, Fiona will be looking at ‘Mind Mapping’ in a fresh new way. \nMind Mapping (or Brain Mapping\, Spray Diagrams or Spidergrams) are a way to get information ‘out’ before ordering and collating it into a useful format for development. \nOnce you unleash your Driver’s scaling potential\, you can add Mind Mapping techniques to form new ideas\, link ideas and visualise relationships between old and new information. It also maps out the options for the next steps and future steps. It’s totally client-centred\, too! \nThe potential of these techniques is limited solely by your imagination! \nCombining Mind Mapping  techniques offers a solution-focused approach to common problems such as these examples: \n\n“Yes… but I just want to give the test a go!\n“My Dad only had 10 hours\, and the waiting list is so long!”\n“Shall I check my mirrors now? Shall I signal now?\n“Shall I change gear now?”\n“Yes\, I know you’ve told me loads of times\, but I just can’t remember what you told me to do or when to do it?”\n\nThis course combines Client-Centred\, engaging training techniques to give you solutions to these issues and more. \nIf you want that feeling at the end of the day that your efforts are matched by your Drivers\, plus seeing the results that you want\, then this course is for you. \nReview\nMind Mapping – Their Brain Dump\nI wasn’t too sure what to expect from today’s Mind Mapping – Their Brain Dump zoom course. However\, I can honestly say that I do feel I have learned a lot today and have gained some great new ideas\, not just from Fiona but also from other ADI’s and PDI’s who were on the course.\nI really liked Fiona’s calm and relaxed approach\, and she made me feel at ease with her\, “no question is a stupid question” and “there are no right or wrong answers” ethos. My favourite part was Emily’s Story. Partly because I can recognise this in some of my own pupils. It was great to have an example that was easy to relate to!\nI shall certainly be trying mind mapping in the future! And am also keen to try some of Fiona’s other courses\, especially the scaling course. I believe she is in the process of writing another course\, which is due to go live early next year\, so I can’t wait to see what that is all about too!\nI love Fiona’s ability to be so passionate\, but without coming across as being over-bearing or persuasive. She is always keen for others to ask questions and have their own input to aid their own learning. All round a great course\, that I would thoroughly recommend to any ADI or PDI\, but especially those with SC’s coming up or anybody wanting to take a fresh look at their own teaching methods.\nSarah English

SUMMARY:How does Risk Management Affect Your Standard Check or Part 3 Grade?
DESCRIPTION:Risk management has an influence on the other competencies for the standards check. \nScoring 1 or less in any of the sections in the risk management section\, will have a knock-on effect to the other sections. During this session\, I’ll be discussing how the minor competencies link together\, demonstrating how small changes can upgrade your score to improve your overall mark. \nI’ll be developing understanding of the skills required to move your final grade from a B to an A. \nExplain how the feel of the sessions is important in assessing the overall performance & how to create a safe teaching environment has a direct influence in the final score. Developing the instructor’s observations skills\, which could also include how it feels\, what it looks like or how calm the event is will often help create a safe teaching environment. \nhttps://vimeo.com/manage/videos/936908718 \nFive takes out delegates will get from this session:  \n1. How the risk management competencies link to others\n2. What the examiner is looking for\n3. Giving a great customer experience to the driver & passenger\n4. The reason for the journey\n5. How & when to prepare for your assessment \nDuration: 2 hours \nYou’ll receive a course note & a CPD certificate after the session \nWhat did people say about my previous course? \nQ1. What did you learn from the workshop? \n– How over-instructing can lead to points deducted in at least 8 categories and how we can prevent this from happening. \nQ2. How will you change your teaching practice after today’s course \n– I will change the types of questions I am asking so I don’t over-instruct. \nQ3. What did you enjoy about the session? \n– The in-depth understanding of risk management \nQ4. What did you learn from the workshop? \n– How extensive can the knock-on effect be from one missed opportunity to identify a fault? The importance of timing verbal intervention in order to be proactive and avoid this knock on effect. I’ve also learned to think outside the box around teaching risk management in a post test way. \nQ5. How will you change your teaching practice after today’s course \n– Focus on being more proactive\, and intervene at the right time in order to help my students learn and keep situations safe \nQ6. What did you enjoy about the session? \n– Friendly\, small group where everyone was included and felt that their opinions were valued. \nQ7. Was the course of value? If so\, why? \n– Yes\, my SC was a while ago now\, but this course has helped me to evaluate it again and see what I could have improved.

SUMMARY:Hypnotherapy for Weight Management
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4-week program\, and everyone is welcome to join; the price includes all 4 sessions. \nHere are the dates and times: \nWeek 1: Thursday\,  June 6th 7:30 – 8:30 pm \nWeek 2: Thursday\, June 13th 7:30 – 8:30 pm \nWeek 3: Thursday\, June 20th 7:30 – 8:30 pm \nWeek 4: Thursday\, June 27th 7:30 – 8:30 pm \n1 – Learn about why our brain lets us over-eat when we know it’s bad for us. \nI’m sure we all wake up saying enough is enough; today will be different\, but by 8 pm\, you’re back to your old unhealthy routine…..what’s going on in your brain that’s allowing that to happen\, and what can you do to change those patterns of behaviour? \n2 – Goal setting suggestion – you choose your own goal each week \nYour goal could be to stop snacking in the car or stop eating chocolate\, or it could be to be more tolerant with the kids in the morning\, or to tidy the kitchen before you go to bed….we all know that if our head is in a good place we don’t comfort eat. You will set your own goal.  (This is not discussed openly\, your privacy is important) \n3 – Hypnosis to help relax you and allow your brain to process the suggestion \n4 – Implementing strategies to maintain and achieve continued success \nLosing weight doesn’t MAKE you happy – but being HAPPY makes it possible to lose weight \nHypnotherapy is a combination of Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. Psychotherapy in itself is extremely beneficial\, and its effects are enhanced by the application of Hypnotherapy\, which enables the subconscious mind to make positive changes. \nSolution-focused Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process\, and it is important to understand that change happens because you want it to. \nThere is no magic wand to weight loss – but having the knowledge as to why you continue to repeat patterns of behaviour that you know are unhealthy is very powerful.  Having simple practical steps you can take to change these pattern of behaviour gets you on the right track.  Knowing why dieting doesn’t really work in the long term\, but changing patterns of behaviour and reducing stress are the keys to long-term change. \nBeing a Solution Focused therapy\, we don’t focus on the problem (with good reason); we take the emphasis away from diet\, exercise and weight and focus on feeling good and how to achieve that.  We know that when we feel good\, we naturally make better choices about food and feel motivated to exercise.  The mind body balance is what we strive for. \nA good weight management session is when the client is able to describe being happier not because they’ve lost weight or kept to a diet but because they feel able to cope well and are proud of their reaction to events.  Their happiness is what will make their change possible in the long term (weight management is usually just one of the changes that a person makes when they are happier or more confident)

SUMMARY:Scaling - The Bigger Picture - Fiona Taylor (Evening Version)
DESCRIPTION:This is a certificated Zoom Workshop delivered by Fiona Taylor. In this workshop\, Fiona will be looking at ‘Scaling’ in a fresh new way. \nScaling can be as basic as 4 out of 5 stars or even a score of 8 out of 10.\n– OR\nIt can be a way for a multitude of information and details to be explored that may not be evident from an initial glance at the number (or indeed a star) rating alone. How often do you read the full Reviews to see ‘why’ a product has 4.5 stars.

How often do you read the full Reviews to see ‘why’ a product has 4.5 stars.

SUMMARY:Mind Mapping - The Bigger Picture - Fiona Taylor
\nReview\nMind Mapping – The Bigger Picture\nI wasn’t too sure what to expect from today’s Mind Mapping – The Bigger Picture zoom course.
