Through engaging slides, discussion, breakout activities, and live demonstrations, you’ll learn the critical first steps that can help save lives.

This is the first session in a new series focusing on the medical emergencies driving instructors may encounter, and how to manage them using practical first aid skills, structured decision-making, and calm, effective responses.

• Prioritise safety at a road incident or medical emergency

• Carry out a primary survey (DRABC/DR ABCD)

• Identify life-threatening conditions and take immediate action
