Diane HallI trained as a Driving Instructor in 2002 and soon realised that many good drivers failed due to nerves getting the better of them. I wanted to help my students learn to drive in fewer repetitive lessons and to combat test-day nerves. I spent 18 months researching the best way to help my pupils, and in 2008 I trained as a Thought Field Therapist, and then in 2014 I qualified to the Advanced Level of Thought Field Therapy. My pupils found these techniques truly amazing in reducing their nerves and anxiety, helping them to keep calm on their driving test and able to control their emotions, rather than their emotions controlling them.Read more…
Once I knew I had found the ‘winning formula’ to help my pupils, my goal was that other instructors and learners could benefit. In 2008 I was awarded a grant from UnLtd, the Millennium Awards Trust for Social Entrepreneurs which helped me to launch L of a way 2 Pass, publish my first book, and develop a training programme for Driving Instructors. As with anything a bit ‘different’, in the beginning, I encountered many sceptical learner drivers and fellow driving instructors! However, as the L of a way 2 Pass techniques became more widespread, people began to realise what my students and I already knew…the techniques worked! From initial scepticism in 2008, we have grown to the point where we have L of a way 2 Pass Certified Driving Test Nerves Specialists all over the U.K., as a result of ADIs and PDIs attending our workshops, run by myself and my partner Chris, who is a psychotherapist and also ADI.Since 2016, Chris and I have worked closely together to design our very own unique therapy system, and L of a way 2 Pass Programme, which instructors who work with us via a 1-2-1 session or workshop benefit from. Our combination of different therapeutical interventions is the culmination of decades of research, training and working with 1,000’s of clients, ensuring that what we offer is unique in our industry.Since 2008, L of a way 2 Pass has received many accolades including:
