GRAHAM HOOPER ADI (ORDIT)
I suppose you can say I am driven, pardon the pun by a combination of being enthusiastic about making a difference to road safety and a need to provide excellent customer service.
There was under lying factors in becoming a driving instructor, it stems back to being lucky, I was lucky I chose not to be on the back of my best friend’s motorbike, the day a car pulled out in front of him, and he had a fatal collision, 47 years ago.
Read more...I also developed my customer service skills by working in fast moving environment running betting shops in North London, you had to have people skills to survive, and you had to learn to read people quickly, as there are many con artists in that environment.
I became good at training and mentoring people to develop their skill set and had a highly performing group of staff, which exceeded targets set but then I discovered something was missing. I then decided I need to learn to coach and my road to becoming a coach, mentor & trainer began.
I have embarked on a long journey of continual professional development, and I believe I have helped improve the CPD provided within our industry playing a part in helping to develop some of the top trainers in this industry and many ADIs and PDIs along the way, my reviews and testimonials run into 100’s, so hopefully I have got somethings right along the way.
I now can pass those skills on to you.
The person behind the trainer is a proud Dad and someone who is still enthusiastic to learn more about this world and how we can play a part in improving it. I have been a follower and supporter of Chelsea FC since I was 7 years old (57 years ago), hopefully those who follow other teams will forgive me. I enjoy playing golf and I like to think I have a sense of humour. I have become an avid theatre goer and love live music; it is the appreciation of the creative talent that we all have and for many of us still undiscovered.
