Kathy Higgins is an award-winning businesswoman, with 7 awards both for business and within the driver training industry, she is possibly one of the most qualified driver trainers in the industry and has amassed an array of varied CPD.
Kathy has progressed from being a franchisee of a national driving school to running her own multi car driving school and encourages her instructors to undergo regular CPD, in the way of free weekly classroom sessions, which cover a variety of topics from fault identification to multicultural communication, and everything in between.
She is a published author, writing ‘An Insight to Drive’, a training quality monitor across all the police diversionary courses and runs a small business outside of the driver training industry.
She is a firm believer that having only one income stream is a dangerous place to be. Having said all that, she has not lost sight of the real world and still has a good sense of humour and enjoys working with people.
When she is not working, she enjoys church bellringing, tai chi, and amateur dramatics.
