Hardial Singh Matharu is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor and an experienced Teacher of Science, with a passion for developing confident, reflective, and high-performing driving instructors.

He completed Train The Trainer with John Farlam’s team and achieved the BTEC Level 4 in Coaching and Driver Development — qualifications that underpin his structured, supportive, and coaching-based approach to instructor training.

Hardial provides professional development and in-car training for PDIs and ADIs preparing for Parts 1, 2, 3, and the Standards Check. His sessions focus on helping you refine your instructional techniques, strengthen your lesson planning, and deliver truly Great Driving Lessons.

Through his popular WATCH THE TRAINER sessions, Hardial invites PDIs and ADIs to Dudley to observe live driving lessons, followed by personalised, in-car coaching. These sessions are carefully designed to help you understand how to deliver engaging, structured, and effective driving lessons.

Many PDIs travel from across the country for this bespoke, hands-on training experience, which blends real-world observation with expert feedback and tailored development.
